Privacy Policy

Newsletter and lead magnets. When you subscribe to The Renal Research Digest or request a downloadable resource (grocery lists, PDF guides, quizzes), we collect the name and email address you provide.

Paid consultations. If you book a paid consultation, you may complete an intake form that includes health history, current medications, dietary patterns, and self-reported laboratory values such as a comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP), lipid panel, intact parathyroid hormone (iPTH), 25-OH vitamin D, ferritin, and urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio (ACR).

Site usage. Standard web analytics collect non-identifying technical information such as pages viewed, referring site, browser type, and approximate region.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy. We share only what is needed for these services to function.

The Shop page contains affiliate links, which are disclosed on that page. Clicking an affiliate link may share browsing information (such as referral source and click activity) with the retailer under that retailer's own privacy policy. NephroNourish does not receive your purchase details beyond aggregate commission reporting.

Personal information is never sold, rented, or traded to third parties. Sponsored placements in the newsletter are sold as ad space only — sponsors never receive subscriber lists or individual data.

Lab values, diagnoses, medications, and any other health information shared during an intake or consultation are treated as confidential. They are used only to prepare your plan and coordination notes, are not shared with anyone without your written request, and are not used in public content unless fully de-identified and shared with your consent.

NephroNourish provides nutrition education and consulting, not medical care, and is not a HIPAA-covered entity. Please share only what you're comfortable sharing.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information held about you at any time through the Contact page. Every newsletter email also includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

This site uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work as expected if you do.

Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Consultation intake records and notes are retained for up to three years for continuity of care and then deleted, unless you ask for earlier deletion.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and it will be deleted.

This policy may be updated as services or providers change. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
